The Torah Academy’s mission since 1993 is to make a dual general and traditional Jewish education available for all. In post-Katrina New Orleans, the school’s motto maintains: “rebuilding the community one unique child at a time.” With low tuition and financial scholarships, the cost of a comprehensive education is still achievable for all families. Learning, love and lots of laughter has not ceased from this educational establishment since the terrible devastation only two years ago. When you donate online you are doing your part to ensure that every interested child in Louisiana will be afforded the opportunity for a superb Judaic and general education. Contribute to this worthy endeavor and we will all reap the everlasting dividends that know no measure.
Torah Academy provides a nurturing environment where each child is encouraged to develop his or her potential. Students, from the youngest preschoolers to the eighth grade graduates, are guided in becoming tomorrow’s leaders. For sponsorships, donations, and bidding, visit www.jewtodo.com. All proceeds will go directly to benefit the students at Torah Academy and the daily operations that have been an additional challenge since the hurricane disaster.
In the spirit of Southern hospitality, donors are encouraged to visit Torah Academy of New Orleans when in the "Big Easy". Come and bear witness to the unparalleled work your generosity allows.
