This motorcycle is custom built for the NHL Los Angeles Kings Hockey Team and is to be auctioned off at Universal Studios Hollywood on February 24 at their Annual Tip-A-King Fundraise which benefits young people.
Recently the Kings Hockey Team signed their name on various parts of the motorcycle which was custom painted with the Teams logo, colors and pucks flying across the motorcycle. The bike signing attracted the attention of all the local Los Angeles news network affiliates. Please see the pictures posted on the Yamaha 99 websites.

Many local artisans, and motorsports experts, have been involved in the creation of the Ice Bike. Jim Ogawa with Ogawa Designs in Sanger, CA did the custom paint and graphics. MecLec Chrome in Clovis, CA contributed the chrome. Rock Terry with Rocky’s Architecture In Leather created the purple custom seat. Jim Riley the owner of Yamaha 99 developed the concept for the Ice Bike and with the Kings brought the Bike to life. David Reed and Edgar Johns assembled the bike at Yamaha 99.
Jay Leno has asked that the bike be shown on his show during the next couple of weeks. The Ice Bike can be viewed at Yamaha 99 from 9 to 6 Wednesday thru Friday. The special unveiling party will be Wednesday February 13 at 11 am.
