“Prior to the establishment of Gibbs Telecom Services, our commercial moving and storage business has been operating under Gibbs Contracting, Inc., “ stated Leon Gibbs, President and CEO. “Although commercial moving and storage accounts for a large percentage of our business, we felt that with the evolution of new telecommunication products and services we could offer our clients a turnkey solutions when we moved them and have an advantage over our competitors.”
Gibbs Telecom Services’ mission is to provide customers with a cost-effective, no-hassle solution when it comes to relocating or upgrading their telecommunication equipment. The Division’s offerings include the moving of office telecommunications and IT network systems and provide a low-cost Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution. Also, new telephone systems can be purchased from such manufacturers as Avaya, Nortel and Allworx.. Gibbs Telecom Services will focus on small-to-mid-size companies that cannot afford to have a full-time IT administrator on-site to make routine changes to their telephone network. The new Division will be headed-up by Spencer LaCapra, a 20-year veteran in the telecommunication industry.
