Currently we are on a nationwide membership drive. Here's how it works: FADD members become the DESIGNATED DRIVER to provide a Safe and Sober ride home for their loved ones in order to avoid the deadly consequences of drinking and driving. This is just one way that FADD is combating the war on drunk driving.
FADD is also partnering with Independent Reps that are helping us with our membership drive, these reps are also bringing sponsors in to support this life saving cause. We plan to have reps in every region in the U.S.A. Currently FADD has a little over 4,000 members nationwide and growing daily. We are working hard every day sending out direct mail packages, also we are calling on individuals and businesses to let them know about our DESIGNATED DRIVER membership drive. FADD is also distributing educational information from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in Rockville, MD.
Another one of our plans is to bring awareness and education to the general public. FADD loves to work with our local youth groups to reach our community. The main reason is because year after year the statistics are the same. The age group that leads the nation in alcohol related crashes is the age group of 14 yrs. to 25 yrs old. This age group is our future, they have every right to have a family, career and grandchildren as well, they are our future leaders as well.
FADD also has plans to open up an educational, research and national calling center here in California. We have put together a grant submission package and mailed it to 27 different foundations all over the U.S.A.
